"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;" Romans 12:12 This verse has meant a lot to us the past several weeks. In our last letter I explained how Sue's surgery went well without any complications. The doctors believe all the cancer has been removed. Also, I asked for prayer for a lump in her breast. The doctors did a biopsy on the lump and the results were negative. Thank God and thank you for all the prayers, the recovery and the great results are answered prayer! Sue was able to travel with me to attend our daughter's college graduation on May 3, at Crown Bible College. It was a blessing for Sue and I, Michelle graduated with highest honors and was presented the "Tanna Columns" Christian woman's service award. Michelle has return to Korea to teach English and minister among the Korean people. On May 7, our youngest daughter, Grace was married to Daniel Hedrick in Knoxville, TN. The ceremony was beautiful and God gave us a great wedding celebration. Grace and Daniel serves in the Bus ministry at Temple Baptist church in Knoxville. Last prayer letter I mentioned Sue's family has a history of cancer. Her Brother who is being treated for liver cancer recently discovered he has a cancerous tumor in his brain. Please pray for Chong, Guen-Yong. Guen-Yong has trusted Christ as Saviour. After being a way for three weeks it is great to be back home in Korea at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Our people did a wonderful job making sure the ministry continue and made our visiting preachers feel at home. There are a number of new families visiting the church, please pray they will join the Church and replace the ones who are rotating back to the States. On June 13, one of our Korean men, Sung Ho Moon, who was called to preach at our church awhile ago, will be preaching at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Ilsan, Korea. Please pray for Brother Moon as he completes his training and seeks the Lord's will concerning future ministry. Also, please pray for Chris Phillips who left Lighthouse Baptist Church to attend Bible College in 2002. He is currently on deputation to go to Kazakhstan and work with displaced Koreans. Chris was a Korean linguist in the United States Air Force before separating from the military to attend Bible College. We thank God for all the men who have been called to preach in the past 12 years at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Without your prayers and support this would not be possible. Thank you once again for all the prayers and support!
